Vacation-palooza

What a week.

The whole 9-to-5 thing got really busy (bad) and coaching got busy (very good).

Enter vacation-palooza.  Next week kicks off the first of 2 vacations we have lined up:  Kauai then Paris/London.  Considering they are 2 weeks apart makes for a fun and stressful month.

My running shoes will be in tow for both vacations but I’m not stressing about getting in the miles.  We’ll be on our feet most days anyway hiking around Kauai and exploring Paris/London on foot.

That’s all I got, folks – short and sweet today!  I may post from Kauai or unplug from blogging.  We’ll see.

Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!

My Mom was born & raised on Kauai so its my fav island. You HAVE to drive up to Kalalau Valley lookout, it is beautiful. London is so neat too, tons of shopping! Haven’t been to Paris yet. It would be interesting to run there.

  10. Love Love Love Kauai! So gorgeous and tons of waterfalls to hike to!!!!

  11. Oh my gosh – awesome. So funny, my husband and I went to Kauai last year, and are doing London/Paris this September! We’ll have to compare notes.
You have to hike the Na’pali coast in Kauai (and hike the whole way to the waterfall – it’s worth it but pack plenty of fuel & water!)
Also, we went deep sea fishing which was probably the highlight of the trip – I caught a mahi which was such a rush (and then we grilled it that night!)
You’ll have to give me your London/Paris recommendations after you get back! Have fun!!!
